Pick up this month's book at the circulation desk and meet us the first Thursday of the month at 11 to discuss.
This group takes aim at history, medicine, society, procedures, the mind, food and drink, cultures, and everything in between as we seek to find ALL the answers to who, what, when, where, why, and how. We're always interested in new members and suggestions. Join us on the first Thursday of the month at 11 a.m. for enlightening conversation about interesting subjects!
The Maricopa Library and Cultural Center was first conceived back in 1955, when local citizens discovered Library Extension had books to loan. Volunteer-led for nearly 5 decades, MLCC matured along with the city of Maricopa, opening a state of the art building in 2021. Offerings include material check outs, computer usage, passport services, print/copy services, reference, and programs galore led by a hardworking team of dedicated library professionals. There’s even a USPS-contracted postal unit within the library, making it an easy way to complete life’s errands. Fulfilling a critical need for gathering spaces within the city, nearly half of the MLCC is carved out for meeting rooms for community groups, clubs, and quiet study. There is something for every member of the family at the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center!
