Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training is coming to the library. You will learn to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges in adults. This free class is offered through a partnership with the Pinal Hispanic Council and the Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens. Attendance at both sessions is required for certification. You will learn about common signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges. Discover how to interact with and connect with a person in crisis. Expand your knowledge of trauma, substance use, and self-care.
