Come see The Wizard of Oz with us at the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center. Join Dorothy and Toto as they explore the wonderful land of Oz, try to find their way back home to Kansas, and avoid the Wicked Witch of the West while meeting fun and unique friends along the way.

The Maricopa Library and Cultural Center was first conceived back in 1955, when local citizens discovered Library Extension had books to loan. Volunteer-led for nearly 5 decades, MLCC matured along with the city of Maricopa, opening a state of the art building in 2021. Offerings include material check outs, computer usage, passport services, print/copy services, reference, and programs galore led by a hardworking team of dedicated library professionals. There’s even a USPS-contracted postal unit within the library, making it an easy way to complete life’s errands. Fulfilling a critical need for gathering spaces within the city, nearly half of the MLCC is carved out for meeting rooms for community groups, clubs, and quiet study. There is something for every member of the family at the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center!
