Join us for story time for children aged 3-5 and their parents, featuring stories, songs, fingerplays, rhymes, and crafts or other extension activities.
Storytime makes learning fun! Storytime acts as an integral part of early literacy education by introducing young children to books, rhymes, music and other literacy-based activities. San Tan Valley Library offers programs matched to the typical attention spans and developmental levels of different ages of children. Please keep in mind we have a limit on the number of attendees due to the room size.
* Special Announcement: StoryTime is now a ticketed program. For session attendance balance and adherence of max occupancy limits, kids 2+ attending the program will need a ticket to secure their space. Babies and parents will not need a ticket. Each session is capped at 30 tickets and entrance to an already in-progress StoryTime will not be allowed five minutes after it has started. Tickets can be picked up at the library circulation desk up to 30 minutes before the program. The times to begin picking up tickets are 9:30 am for the 10 am session and 10:30 am for the 11 am session. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we transition into this new process for StoryTime. *
