Kinder Prep Classes at the Vista Grande Library
Where: Vista Grande Library When: Fridays, March 15th through May 17th from 10:00 to 11:30 AM.
Students must be 4 or 5 years of age.
Parents, or guardians, will need to stay in the classroom with their child during class sessions. It is recommended that you attend ALL dates.
For maximum learning success each child may be accompanied by 2 adults, and not more than 1 other child (who will need to stay with a parent).
There are 12 openings for our class, please do not enroll if your child has previously taken the class.
This class will cover basic kinder readiness topics: Including alphabet sounds and recognition, numbers 1-10 recognition and counting, shapes, colors…
Part of the goal will be to involve parents in helping students with classwork, and exampling how to work with students on teaching kindergarten readiness skills, as the students have fun learning in a classroom setting.
The City of Casa Grande has two public library branches available to residents. Both boast several free programs and classes offered throughout the year. The Vista Grande Library includes a Makerspace area where classes in technology and crafts are offered on a regular basis. Other popular features include books, magazines, e-books, and developmental material, as well as public computers with internet access.
