A class for those with some computer knowledge who are wanting to learn more about how to use the features of Gmail.

Computer Focus takes a singular popular topic from the Computer Basics class and examines it in-depth.  Computer Focus: Gmail spends additional time going into detail about how to set-up and utilize the many features in Gmail, including: writing emails, organizing emails, including attachments (embedded, attached, and linked), and connecting to other Google products (especially Drive and Contacts).  The course lasts several weeks and is designed for those who have a basic working knowledge of computers and email, in general, but want to learn how to use some of the more useful and common features not covered in the Computer Basics class.

About the branch

The Maricopa Library and Cultural Center was first conceived back in 1955, when local citizens discovered Library Extension had books to loan. Volunteer-led for nearly 5 decades, MLCC matured along with the city of Maricopa, opening a state of the art building in 2021. Offerings include material check outs, computer usage, passport services, print/copy services, reference, and programs galore led by a hardworking team of dedicated library professionals. There’s even a USPS-contracted postal unit within the library, making it an easy way to complete life’s errands. Fulfilling a critical need for gathering spaces within the city, nearly half of the MLCC is carved out for meeting rooms for community groups, clubs, and quiet study. There is something for every member of the family at the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center!
