Ages 7-17 are invited to join Coder Dojo to partner with a mentor to explore their interests in creativity and expression.

Coder Dojo is designed to support youth ages 7-17 in finding their passion and pursue it. All supplies are provided during the program meetings and volunteers are always welcome to help with the program. Please contact the library if interested in volunteering for this program.

About the branch

The Maricopa Library and Cultural Center was first conceived back in 1955, when local citizens discovered Library Extension had books to loan. Volunteer-led for nearly 5 decades, MLCC matured along with the city of Maricopa, opening a state of the art building in 2021. Offerings include material check outs, computer usage, passport services, print/copy services, reference, and programs galore led by a hardworking team of dedicated library professionals. There’s even a USPS-contracted postal unit within the library, making it an easy way to complete life’s errands. Fulfilling a critical need for gathering spaces within the city, nearly half of the MLCC is carved out for meeting rooms for community groups, clubs, and quiet study. There is something for every member of the family at the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center!
