Whether you're a beginner or a master, come and play for fun!
Participants are encouraged to bring any equipment that they have or prefer to play with. This program is designed for 6th grade age-range and above. If your child wants to participate, but is not 6th grade or older, it is required that the parents attend the first session to see if they have the ability to play on their own. Any direct questions for the leader of the program should be sent to Mr. Mojo Krup at mojok413@gmail.com.
The Maricopa Library and Cultural Center was first conceived back in 1955, when local citizens discovered Library Extension had books to loan. Volunteer-led for nearly 5 decades, MLCC matured along with the city of Maricopa, opening a state of the art building in 2021. Offerings include material check outs, computer usage, passport services, print/copy services, reference, and programs galore led by a hardworking team of dedicated library professionals. There’s even a USPS-contracted postal unit within the library, making it an easy way to complete life’s errands. Fulfilling a critical need for gathering spaces within the city, nearly half of the MLCC is carved out for meeting rooms for community groups, clubs, and quiet study. There is something for every member of the family at the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center!
