Warhammer is more than a game – it’s a hobby, and it’s got something for everyone. Whether you like assembling stunning collections, building intricate models or showing off your creativity through painting, it’s all here. Countless worlds and realms await to be conquered in tactical gameplay or discovered in the chapters of gripping novels. Our goal is to provide you with tools to support the learning of mathematics, engineering, literacy, art, design and life skills through the fun hobby of miniature model making. You’ll witness the rise of mighty armies, the conquering of realms and the forging of mighty heroes as we explore unique worlds, make friends, and learn by doing.
In this 4-week program, you’ll experience everything you need to get started in this hobby. Participants will receive in-depth instruction and guidance from seasoned hobbyists as well as their own paintbrush and models to build, paint, and play with to help get them started on this epic journey!

The Maricopa Library and Cultural Center was first conceived back in 1955, when local citizens discovered Library Extension had books to loan. Volunteer-led for nearly 5 decades, MLCC matured along with the city of Maricopa, opening a state of the art building in 2021. Offerings include material check outs, computer usage, passport services, print/copy services, reference, and programs galore led by a hardworking team of dedicated library professionals. There’s even a USPS-contracted postal unit within the library, making it an easy way to complete life’s errands. Fulfilling a critical need for gathering spaces within the city, nearly half of the MLCC is carved out for meeting rooms for community groups, clubs, and quiet study. There is something for every member of the family at the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center!
