ScaryTellers is a night of fright! Do you enjoy reading or even listening to spooky stories? It's time to use your imagination and tell your scariest story! Don't hesitate to add a deep voice, creepy ambiance, or even a costume or two. This spooky Zoom call will let everyone in attendance have about 7 minutes to leave their audience terrified. Make sure and keep it age appropriate, a reasonable length, and have fun! Our special guest Anthony will be hosting as we find out who can tell the scariest story on the unluckiest day of the year.
Age range is 8 to 14, time limit per story is around 7 minutes, and again costumes are highly encouraged. Have fun!

The Maricopa Library and Cultural Center was first conceived back in 1955, when local citizens discovered Library Extension had books to loan. Volunteer-led for nearly 5 decades, MLCC matured along with the city of Maricopa, opening a state of the art building in 2021. Offerings include material check outs, computer usage, passport services, print/copy services, reference, and programs galore led by a hardworking team of dedicated library professionals. There’s even a USPS-contracted postal unit within the library, making it an easy way to complete life’s errands. Fulfilling a critical need for gathering spaces within the city, nearly half of the MLCC is carved out for meeting rooms for community groups, clubs, and quiet study. There is something for every member of the family at the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center!
