A-POP is a anime program for teens.
A-POP is a anime program for teens, ages 13-17. In the traditional style of a book club, A-POP brings teens together to instead view anime episodes! After watching an hour of anime episodes (approximately 1 HR in length in total) the group then has a thirty minute discussion on what was viewed. This exciting new program will take place online via the app Discord™ to support social distancing. To receive a link to the Discord™ server, please register for the program. The program facilitator will send an email with the Discord™ link to the email address provided. By attending this program, you are agreeing to the following terms:
· You have received parental and or guardian permission to attend this program online, usage of the internet, and using the app Discord™.
· You are a teen between the ages of 13-17, are a member of the Maricopa Public Library in the City of Maricopa, Arizona. If this information is false you will be removed from the program entirely.
· The content in this program is rated YA-17 and MA by the TV Parental Guidelines. This is to accommodate a large age bracket.
· Content selected for viewing in this program has been chosen at the discretion of the program facilitator. Care has been taken to primitively view the content; discretion has been made of the appropriateness for presentation to a general Teen (13-17) audience. You understand that the material portrayed in these videos is entirely fictitious, and that viewing discretion is advised. You understand that this content is intended purely for educational purposes, and the content is subjective.
· Your library card information is required to join the program, and the entered information is correct to the best of your knowledge as well as your email information is correct to the best of your knowledge. You understand that a correct email is required in order to receive a Discord™ handle invite to view the streaming video(s).

The Maricopa Library and Cultural Center was first conceived back in 1955, when local citizens discovered Library Extension had books to loan. Volunteer-led for nearly 5 decades, MLCC matured along with the city of Maricopa, opening a state of the art building in 2021. Offerings include material check outs, computer usage, passport services, print/copy services, reference, and programs galore led by a hardworking team of dedicated library professionals. There’s even a USPS-contracted postal unit within the library, making it an easy way to complete life’s errands. Fulfilling a critical need for gathering spaces within the city, nearly half of the MLCC is carved out for meeting rooms for community groups, clubs, and quiet study. There is something for every member of the family at the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center!
