Celebrate this year’s Summer Reading theme “Color Our World” with us by making a colorful tie-dye creation. Bring your creativity and design your very own vibrant, one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Dress for mess and have fun experimenting with color. All supplies provided. This event has three sessions. Register for the timeslot that works best for you. T-shirt sizes are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Please Note: At least one adult will need to attend with their children, as children may not attend unsupervised. Registration is required due to limited materials.

The Maricopa Library and Cultural Center was first conceived back in 1955, when local citizens discovered Library Extension had books to loan. Volunteer-led for nearly 5 decades, MLCC matured along with the city of Maricopa, opening a state of the art building in 2021. Offerings include material check outs, computer usage, passport services, print/copy services, reference, and programs galore led by a hardworking team of dedicated library professionals. There’s even a USPS-contracted postal unit within the library, making it an easy way to complete life’s errands. Fulfilling a critical need for gathering spaces within the city, nearly half of the MLCC is carved out for meeting rooms for community groups, clubs, and quiet study. There is something for every member of the family at the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center!
