Jungle Jill comes back to Maricopa Library with a fun menagerie of creatures!
Over the lifetime of the Maricopa Library, we've had horses and alligators, hedgehogs and hissing cockroaches join in our fun. We've seen all manner of things that slither, flitter, and fly, so we hope you don't miss Jungle Jill's exciting program as she brings us new animals to learn about, love, and sometimes even hold! Jill brings a variety of animal friends and years of science and animal knowledge to this fun program for kids and families.

The Maricopa Library and Cultural Center was first conceived back in 1955, when local citizens discovered Library Extension had books to loan. Volunteer-led for nearly 5 decades, MLCC matured along with the city of Maricopa, opening a state of the art building in 2021. Offerings include material check outs, computer usage, passport services, print/copy services, reference, and programs galore led by a hardworking team of dedicated library professionals. There’s even a USPS-contracted postal unit within the library, making it an easy way to complete life’s errands. Fulfilling a critical need for gathering spaces within the city, nearly half of the MLCC is carved out for meeting rooms for community groups, clubs, and quiet study. There is something for every member of the family at the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center!
