Join NASA Solar System Ambassador, Alex Nachman in learning all about space! The planets, stars, the galaxy and BEYOND.

If you are interested in space or working with NASA equipment this is the program for you! Alex Nachman is a NASA Solar System Ambassador who is excited to share all of her space knowledge with you! Take a look at some really in depth NASA equipment, photographs of planets in space, and even look through her telescope. This program goes through several series and will start off with a four week mini series! 

*Seats are limited within the program and social distancing will be required. Face masks must be worn throughout the program.*

About the branch

The Maricopa Library and Cultural Center was first conceived back in 1955, when local citizens discovered Library Extension had books to loan. Volunteer-led for nearly 5 decades, MLCC matured along with the city of Maricopa, opening a state of the art building in 2021. Offerings include material check outs, computer usage, passport services, print/copy services, reference, and programs galore led by a hardworking team of dedicated library professionals. There’s even a USPS-contracted postal unit within the library, making it an easy way to complete life’s errands. Fulfilling a critical need for gathering spaces within the city, nearly half of the MLCC is carved out for meeting rooms for community groups, clubs, and quiet study. There is something for every member of the family at the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center!
